Every year, Mason must say good-bye to a handful of phenomenal Mustang athletes and musicians. And so, at the end of each season, George Mason recognizes these students with a night dedicated to them.
For the fall sports senior night this year, the students were escorted by family and friends on the football field during the halftime of the varsity football game against Madison County on Friday, October 30. This year’s seniors included members of the pep band, cross country team, football team, cheerleading squad, volleyball team, golf team, and athletic training student aides. Along with the fall sport students’ recognition at the game, The Lasso would like to further recognize the seniors of varsity football below.

“I am really going to miss my teammates next year, without a doubt. I think that the bond you have with your teammates is something you just can’t find anywhere else, so I’m definitely going to miss my team,” says Declan Ferguson, defensive back.

The other fall athletes who were involved in cheerleading, volleyball, and golf were also recognized.

These students include Jack Hennessey, Ginger Villamar, and Federico Torres.
Every year, Mason wishes its seniors luck as they say farewell to high school and move on to greater things. George Mason recognizes these seniors’ hard work throughout their high school careers; especially the students who have taken on the challenge of becoming student-athletes, student-musicians, and student-aides to the school’s athletic trainer. Thank you,  seniors for being a great fine to George Mason.
