Despite the rain last week, Wednesday, May 30 was filled with smiles and laughs as elementary and middle school students from different schools across Northern Virginia joined together on the George Mason field for the Little Feet Meet Special Olympics. Special needs students from several different school systems, including FCCPS, participated in several events on the field, including broad jump, races, soccer, and tee ball. Even when it began to rain, the moods of students and volunteers couldn’t be dampened. The festivities continued. Check out these moments from the Little Feet Meet.
