Learning resources, with room for local judgment
The articles explain writing, reporting, photography, and student media projects. They do not replace an assignment brief, a teacher’s instructions, a school’s safeguarding rules, or a publication’s own standards. Examples are starting points for learning; they are not statements about a real student or school unless the article expressly says so.
Before photographing, interviewing, or publishing information about another person, consider permission, privacy, and the rules of the setting. A suggested project does not grant access to a venue or permission to use someone else’s image.
Sharing and reusing material
Links to our pages are welcome. You may use ideas and examples to develop your own work. Copying substantial text, distributing images, or republishing an entire worksheet may require permission; an explicit reuse notice on a particular resource takes precedence for that resource. Applicable exceptions and rights are not restricted by these terms.
Third-party works, quoted passages, and product names remain subject to their owners’ rights. An article’s reference to a school, tool, publication, or style guide does not imply affiliation.
Using the website responsibly
Do not misuse contact channels, send harmful files, impersonate another person, or interfere with the website. This site does not administer school records, grades, admissions, or yearbook purchases.
We may update material as errors are identified or information changes, and uninterrupted access is not guaranteed.
